Under stress, it is common to clench your jaws, which can make them tense and sore. Perhaps you wake up with a headache, tired jaw muscles or have been recommended a splint by a dentist? Then our jaw joint treatment might be a good idea. This is usually a very popular massage with us.
A tight jaw joint can cause many different symptoms such as:
- Difficulty in opening your mouth
- Pain and stiffness in the face, ears, tinnitus, forehead, migraine, tension headaches, stiffness and pain in the neck, shoulders and lower back
- Clicking sound in the jaw joint when opening and closing the mouth
- Tooth grinding, tooth clenching, bruxism, pressing the tongue.
Not infrequently, people with tense jaws also experience stiffness in the hip. We massage both outside and, with gloves, inside the mouth. This is usually very beneficial. Flabbiness in the face can be reduced and as a bonus, both luminosity and blood circulation tend to increase. Already after a jaw joint treatment, you will certainly notice a big difference and most people also experience that they sleep better and have more energy. You may need to repeat the treatment a few times for best results, especially if you have had problems for a long time or have injured your jaw. The treatment also includes a massage of the neck and throat, which afterwards usually feels more mobile and less tense.
